Today has been a massive day for my beautiful KK - she left year 6 and also put this outfit on and even socks! With her sensory issues it means she hates to wear socks. Not only that but she's also asked to go shopping tomorrow! Something which she'd not usually want to do! So proud!
One of the reasons it's easy to love Bennett is because of how hard he tries. Last night he did not get his evening dose of medication. He had been ramped up all day. But he never went off the cliff. It's been work but he fought through it. The thing that gets me? How verbal he's been. How bright. Makes me wonder so much. While eating some melty ice cream like dish (well, I'm feeding it to him by this point so it doesn't go everywhere) he looks at me deadeye and says "Juicy." Then laughs and laughs. So did I.
Well, at least we had a mostly great weekend together. The middle pic is my right arm, managed to protect it more. The left took the brunt. The bite on the outer area near the elbow was the toughest to endure. The bruise will be around a while. At least he didn't break the skin there.
