My own daughter starts 8th grade today. EIGHTH GRADE, y'all. Next year, I'll have a high schooler. I cannot even begin to explain how surreal that feels. I remember scouring The Princeton Review during my freshman year of high school and beginning to look at stats from accepted students of my dream schools to make sure that I'd be able to mold myself to fit their stringent criteria. My life derailed in the most amazing way, but looking at who and where I am today...it's hard to say whether or not I'd change a single thing. .
Raise your hand if you remember 8th grade. 🙋🏼♀️I was most definitely rocking clear mascara, Bebe gemstone tops, and Coach cross body bags. #takemeback
