I just finished 10 miles.
It took me 1 hour and 40 minutes.
I have 5 more days until race day which is a little over 13 miles.
And for the first time ever I’m actually like... okay. I can do this. All of the hard work I’ve put in is showing up & Now im all sorts of giddy for race day.
But y’all- don’t forget the days I couldn’t even run 2 miles. Don’t forget the days where the last thing I felt like doing was working out. Don’t forget the days that I cried (yes cried)because I was so frustrated.
It was hard. It still is HARD. But results happen when there is consistency. And I can honestly say- every fear, frustration, and set back that I had was all worth it for the feeling that I have now.
October 21, see you soon.
