Haven’t been posting regularly lately and some friends have reached out to ask if everything is okay. Thank you; I’m doing great! I’ve taken a lesser role at Atomic CF (now just a part time coach) and, coincidentally, today in 2008 was the grand opening of the CF affiliate I started (originally CrossFit Sugar Land and changed the name to Atomic CrossFit in September 2008). Also, I have put more focus back on my wifely duties along with taking on a few challenges here and there and trying to be supportive to my sister who has been battling cancer since 2014. I have also started working on sustainability with training, recovery, stress management, dialing in on my nutrition, aiming for positive energy for things that I can control, managing time for productivity, limit IG/FB times 🤣 and monitoring quality sleep especially now that I am 52. I have eliminated a whole lot of processed food and increased my protein intake threefold (no protein powders). Things I can still do: 1 pullover, 10 Strict pull-ups/T2B/butterfly pull-ups, Strict HSPUs, Snatch 97#, Bench 120#, Front Squat 165#, Back Squat 185#, to name a few.
Then, continue to work on: 1 Strict Muscle Up 🙂
