Here are a few key tips I've learned during my press obsession phase. ✅ Stretch your wrists and forearms👐
✅Spend some time daily in the pancake/ straddle stretch
✅Start with your feer higher and practice that transfer of weight into your hands without jumping

We just made it back to AZ and I snuck in a full body workout, with the help of Piper 💪🏼👶🏼.
Repeat each exercise 15x, one after the other. Take 60 second break after last exercise. Repeat circuit 2-4x.
•single leg tricep dips
•sumo squats
•hammer curl to lateral raises
•jump lunges (or static lunges if jumping is uncomfortable)
•side plank in & outs
•glute bridge marching

🎶 Sometimes when training gets tough I sing to distract myself. Oftentimes, this foolishness does nothing except draw attention to my poor vocal skills and waste my precious breath. How do you deal with the pains of training?

SKIPPING HIIT
Limited space & time? Try this 20 min skipping HIIT I did yesterday on our decking - maybe a good idea to use a proper rope though - this was my daughter's & only had one handle 😂😂

I'm having a much needed rest day today.

Perform each exercise (1-10) for 40s with a 20s rest in between each one then repeat the whole circuit again (=20 mins). Remember to warm up & cool down.

EXERCISES:
1. Jump skipping
2. Lateral jump burpees
3. High knees skipping
4. Lateral jumps (3) tuck jump (1)
5. Butt kick skipping
6. In & out jump squats
7. Scissor skipping
8. In & out sprinting
9. Straddle skipping
10. Stork jumps .

Today I'm doing giant sets with the resistance and loop bands.
I like the bands a lot - more than weights. In my opinion, the bands better isolate the individual muscle groups.

Every time I do an at home or solo workout (not in class or with trainer) I do an entire resistance band series, standing and lying down. Here's the standing part, with low reps for purposes of the video. Here's how it usually goes:

Leg out - 30 reps each side
Leg across - 30 reps each side
Leg back - 30 reps each side
Squat with leg lift - 20 reps each side
Squat walk - 40 steps
I love resistance bands, I feel like they're very effective at toning my body. I love these exercises because they're pretty simple but tone multiple muscles at a time; legs glutes and core if you engage it. Also, to increase intensity you can always squat deeper or increase level of resistance with a stronger band.

#eggfast day 2 check in for Saturday. I really enjoyed the fried egg with cheese crisps so i decided to just enjoyed it again for meal 2. Stick with what works. Basically eggs fried in 2 tbsp coconut oil and 2oz of cheese crisp. Each cheese crisp is approx. 1/2 oz. each. So far so good.

What type of practical things do you do in your days to keep you aligned with your goals? I use anchors throughout the day to keep me in the 'fit' zone. Not only does it remind me to be active where I can, but it also makes me 'feel' fit even when I don't get time for a full on workout I can bust out something active @lornajaneactive is definitely a huge part of my wardrobe and I regularly pair streetwear with active wear. Gotta love it 😍
