#throwback - "this is definitely a different kind of sport Moritz 😪" ... exhausted after my first 30k run experience. There were no laughs after this run 😅. Marathon distance is close ... but still far away. Had to get my body from lifting weights, being quick and playing basketball 🏀 / going surfing 🏄🏽 to a "runners physique" and having real endurance ⌚️ again. Still feels strange to loose the tention & muscles in the upper body because this part is just not much needed for this type of discipline - except for core stability ☝🏽😌. What I do like about it is the mindset behind it: "Get through the run, keep on moving, don't stop - it hurts but finish strong💪🏽!" Constantly reminding yourself that you can do this even if it's not your type of sport. And of course reaching that goal you were aiming for is a beautiful feeling 🙌🏽😊🙌🏽.
