😊 from @mrkevindutch - This might be a picture, but it goes on well to depict the life of every corper. An unnecessary crucible, which comes after the turmoil of University struggles. A pause in the lives of promising individuals; subjected to a "compulsory service to nationhood"; saddled with the slogan of doing so (serving) with humility; humility that is time and again abused consistently. With the monthly dishing of "stipends" (Peanuts), not befitting to a human adding to the workforce, and aiding nation building. The subjugation of learned individuals to unhealthy environmental habitat; "EXPLOITATION", hardship, stress, depression; all with the promise of issuing a "paper-like certificate". Fellow industrious youths; we've been shortchanged, and blinded by the pride of Khaki Uniforms. Our pains untold. Our daily sufferings unimaginable. But still it's a clarion call, a call to service. Yet we obeyed. If anyone sees it a joyous thing to adorn these uniforms of "forced service" to the fatherland. Then I say "YOUR JOY IS UNFOUNDED"! By @realistwrites.
