It’s Ag Safety Awareness Program Week, so let’s talk about farm safety and why is it important.
I grew up on this farm (top photo circa 1997) and now I am raising my three girls here, so family is so important to me and to the success of our farm. It’s a farmer’s dream to have the next generation take over the farm, so it’s important to keep them safe. As a mom raising three tiny humans, it’s my responsibility to avoid dangerous situations, protect them and myself from harm and think ahead. As much as I want my family to remain safe, I also want all of our employees to return home safe and sound to their families as well. No one can take your place. Today’s takeover is hosted by Renee Clark, a farmer from Platteville, Wi. #wfbftakeover #asap18 #keepfarmssafe #noonecantakeyourplace #kielerfarms
