I've always said if I were to become a writer, I'd really like to do a memoir for a pornstar (current or former), a primary school teacher from 30 years ago, or a matatu conductor from a decade ago.
It's not every day that you discover your favourite pornstar is actually an author too, but then I discovered @asahole's works and had to rethink my life goals. The perfect porn memoir has already been written.
See, a lot of folks only see pornstars as cum dumpsters with acrobatic anuses. You don't ever think that they're real people with feelings, talents and ambitions, do you? No, because you only think of yourself, you narcissistic wanker! But I like to think of the brain behind the deepthroat, and I can now give you an accurate description of what it looks like: Re. Tar. DED! Seriously, this chica is loco. I haven't read anything that cracked me up this much since I discovered the works of @kendallgrey11
I'd never thought of porn as a career, only something that extremely lucky folks do to get laid and earn money while at it, but she makes it sound like a calling, the kind of vocation that brought the Missionaries to Africa. You should check out her shit. And listen to her podcast too. @asahole, I'm ready to convert to your religion.
Here's my fav PG excerpt from "Dirty Thirty" that'll tell you the kind of person you're dealing with here: 'The next day, we were on a flight to Japan. The morning after we arrived, we went to visit my grandmother in the hospital. Tears were shed, touching words were exchanged—I was shocked to see my grandmother in such a state. The women in my family live freakishly long and rarely get sick—whereas the men usually go in their seventies. It’s not so hard to see why—the women are so overbearing, I think the men just say, “Fuck it, live the next twenty years by yourself,” and just die.'
