Lately, a lot of people reaching saying that have read an article saying "Facebook is dying" or they've seen stories that non-for-profits or artist should stop engaging the platform. If you're one of these lovely humans my apologies for dismissing your comment on a post or email, Facebook is an online community that is growing and evolving every day and can be used in a marketing mix to promote your business. It's is a tool and like any trade, the time and money you invest into it the better the end product will be. Until I can see a decline in results from using social media channels to engage communities, promote events and encourage social change I'll be sticking with it.
Over this last two weeks, I have been engaging in some upskilling & am inspired by social media technology once again, feeling fresh like I was 5 years ago when I was working for Boomtick Events before FB become monetized. The more I learn the more I love putting the knowledge into practice and sharing it with others!
Thank you to my friends and family, my employers and the creatives who keep making epic art which drives me most of all. The time is now to rock n roll!
