An artificial intelligence program named Benjamin wrote a short science fiction film about three people living in a strange future. Starring Thomas Middleditch, Elisabeth Gray and Humphrey Ker, the movie was made by director Oscar Sharp for the annual Sci-Fi London film festival. The script was authored by a recurrent neural network called long short-term memory, or LSTM for short. The entire film is currently available on YouTube through the Ars Technica channel. Although the movie is entertaining and funny, the plot is almost entirely nonsensical. It might be a while before computers manage to take over Hollywood.
