Yesterday I completed this little test run of a neon self portrait that is part of my upcoming autobiography #writingunit. So fun, so easy!! 🌈 This piece actually becomes the front cover of the ‘book about me’ your students will complete by the end of this unit. 🌈 Can’t wait to show you all the final product!! It’s pretty special 😁😁 #happysunday#selfportraits#ridgydidgeresources
Their creations from their art class using recycled goods. Alejandro made a very cool airplane that he designed himself and Sophía made a boat. I LOVE learning about their creative skills and what keeps them engaged and this class was totally worth it. Thanks to my amazing husband who took them while I stayed with the younger two during their nap time.

A History of Pictures for Children: From Cave Paintings to Computer Drawings was written by David Hockney and Martin Gayford, illustrated by Rose Blake (@iamroseblake) and published by Abrams Books for Young Readers (@abramskids).
