Olympia's Diary is a photographic journal run in 2015-2016 (http://olympiasdiary.tumblr. The title of the series came from the first picture taken in which Szalecki's friend recreated the pose of Katarzyna Kozyra's Olimpia*. "Olympias" have become a recurring motif of the blog - they appear in photos accompanying travels, parties and performing everyday activities. The project went viral and currently is continued on the instagram profile @fanaticsolimpia , where photos sending by users posing on #olimpiapose are posted. *In "Olimpia" (1996), Kozyra put her fight with cancer and the taboo of naked female bodies on display. As an attempt to restore dignity to an ailing, moribund body by exposing social stereotypes of the aging female body, Kozyra juxtaposed Édouard Manet’s “Olympia” (1863), an image of a healthy, strong, and beautiful body, with her own chemotherapy treatment.
