So apparently I watched #TheFlashSeason1 and #ArrowSeason3 in a weird order, before eventually getting on the right track, so the material in this season is unfortunately not all fresh in my mind. Nevertheless, here is my review. Once again, Arrow does not fail to impress me with their limited character availability and restricted budget. We finally get introduced to #RasAlGhul and the #LeagueOfAssasssins, who make for an excellent story and fairly good main antagonists. However, it does take awhile for the story to get to them, a consistent problem I find with every season. Some of the characters I felt deteriorated in quality, and by that I mean #FelicitySmoak and #LaurelLance. I also thought the flashback storyline was becoming a bit far fetched, with Oliver going back to #StarlingCity and even setting foot in his own home without anyone knowing. I also hated how the flashback story ultimately ended, although I did really love the story with #Maseo and #Katana. Speaking of which, another great villain was @CynthiaAddaiRobinson as #AmandaWaller, who was a character I simply hated because she was just so goddamn despicable. On a final note, I liked #MalcolmMerlyn’s arc this season, as it made an already interesting character more interesting. Overall, I still think they make these seasons much too long for an #Instagram review, but I loved it despite some problems, and it would’ve made an amazing series finale. GRADE: 8.5/10.
