I'm a huge fan of every single US national park I visited during my southwest-trip in 2016, "Acadia" is the first in the northeast of 'merica. It's a pretty small park and as an austrian I find the "mountains" a bit disappointing (everything under like 1,5km is just a hill here in AT 🙃). But man - the shorelines are just beautiful. Due the early sunrise in the sommermonths my phone woke me up at 4 in the morning. It was hard. Really hard. But it was worth it.

"And now for something completely different" (cause I'm usally not a "street-photography"-guy): Busy streetlife in the middle of Istanbul. I felt pretty overhelmed of all the visual, audible and smellable impressions that hit me (hard) in that market. Also a lout shout out to Zeiss, who borrowed me their fine Batis 135mm F2.8 lens for almost a month. http://www.wimair.at

Alright, let's get it over with: The most cliché NYC shot you can possible take. So much flow and life and multicultural exchange - it's just a huge, sparkling circus (and I really enjoyed it). Thousands of hugs and kisses to Rene and Emily (and Louis), our lovely friends/hosts (and their bricky-dog). www.wimair.at www.instagram.com/wim__air

So lets begin the happy posting of some my girlfriend‘s and mine recent trip‘s photos! We flew from Graz (🏠) to Istanbul and stayed there for 3 nights. I didn’t know there are some (literally) hidden treasures under the city‘s busy streets, for example here’s a more unknown cistern we kinda found per accident as we passed the entrance a few times, thinking it’s an expensive restaurant. In fact, this cistern is free and way more beautiful then the famous „Basilica“ cistern if you ask me.
The Grand Bazaar turned out to be one of my favorite places in Istanbul. Hectic but friendly people from all over the world fighting over prices with tea- and spicedealers in colorful ambiance. www.wimair.at Sony A7iii | Zeiss Batis 135mm F2.8 (thanks @zeisscameralenses for borrowing me that gem)
