“Freezing in my comfort zone”
Some of my favorite memories have happened on the coldest of days or nights. Being outside for hours on end, in below zero weather requires a lot of extra gear. Not only to be able to enjoy your surroundings, but for safety reasons as well.
My dad taught me to prepare for the worst, especially in harsh winter conditions like we have up here in Alaska. You never know where or when your car could break down.
My advice is to keep a bag of extra winter gear in your vehicle for you and any children you may have. Along with an emergency kit that has the essentials, including flashers and reflective warning triangles.
Alaska has a very high accident rate.
Stay safe, my friends! ❄️
