Forearm stand with a scorpion variation.
I chose Scorpion with a Broken Tail version. 🦄
I love this variation because I can get my hips open while invert. 😊

Start in a regular forearm stand. If you don't have strong forearm stand, you can practice near the wall. You can also put a block in between your hands to help stabilize your shoulders. Then start to bring one foot to cross above the opposite knee just like when you sit in #figure4chairpose. Try to lift your chest up and bring your head to get closer to the front foot that drop down. I still have a long way to get there. Maybe I'll get my foot to touch my head in my next life. 😂 It doesn't really matter if I get it or not though. I really enjoy practicing this pose. 😊

Draw your shoulders away from your ears. Keep your elbows in. Don't let your elbows sway out. Keep your front ribs close to prevent the arch on your lower back. (Protect your spine!) The most important thing is to keep your breaths slow and steady. If you have strong forearm stand, this is a fun variation to try. 😄
