I think that the biggest difference in my training now compared to any time previously is the mind muscle connection.
Over time I feel like I’ve learned more and more to isolate the muscles that I really want to use rather than allowing my body to compensate weight overload by recruiting the other muscles.
It’s definitely something that takes time and real focus to develop. Once you’ve got it though it’ll change your training and the results that follow forever.
Before you aim for heavy weight, aim for a real connection between you and your body. It’s the best way to maximize results, minimize injury, and be in tune with your body and its needs.
A real mind muscle connection will can take forever to develop, but there are supplements that can help by increasing your focus during a workout. Or if you like to live life on the wild side try a little #cannabis before you train 😜 🧠💪🏼🙌🏼
