I am swamped this week. As seems to happen more weeks than not since having my second child, I don't have time for concentrated exercise. So this week's Wasp Workout is a 1min look at a 5min arm workout that I have depended upon my whole career. It can be done anywhere (often done in my home bathroom or cast trailer on my lunch break) with nothing more than a small pair of dumbells (or any other easily gripped object of weight when dumbells are not avail). As I hope you're coming to expect from my workouts, it's simple, plain, even obvious, but it's what I do. I literally don't even get out of my pijamas to do it. Sometimes I just do it in my undies, on my way into the shower (we'll save that video for another day 😉. Today we'll stick to the "straight outta bed, before feeding the kids breakfast" look 🤤.). It takes less than five mins and keeps my arms toned even in the busiest times.
With the dumbells it's almost always reps of 25 and with the push-ups it'll be reps of 10-20, depending on my mood and strength that day. If you're gonna try it, find the rep # that works for YOU. Go till it's hard, but never compromise form. That's when you're in danger of hurting yourself. Remember, when lifting, bend your knees, tuck your butt and hold that lower belly flat!
