Raise your left foot and gently bring your left heel to rest as high as you can on the front of your right thigh or hip. Flex through your toes. ❤💁If you have no knee pain, then allow your left knee to drop down. Eventually, your bent knee will be in line with the knee of your standing leg ❤💁Draw both hips forward and lengthen your spine as you reach your arms up in a steeple position or bring your left hand to the center of your chest in half prayer position (Anjali Mudra). Maybe try both hands in ❤ center! ❤💁 see how long you can hold this with deep concentration on full breath with calmness of mind! 🖤STAND TALL:STAND STRONG:TRUST YOURSELF 🖤The last week has been a bit topsy turvy to say the least, a few knock backs, a few highs and a few lows - hey, what would life be without them?!! I started to lose focus, doubt myself and the judgment started to creep in. So I took myself back to where it all began with @ancheliqueyoga_freemyme . My friend, my teacher and the woman who taught me to trust and have faith in myself even when the path gets a bit cloudy. In the world we are living in today, where we are surrounded by social media it is easy to start to judge yourself and question who you are? I noticed this pattern and went back to the beginning, and to what I teach my students; trust in yourself, the answers are already there, set your foundation, stand tall and be strong because that is enough for right now (hence the tree pose photo). So take a deep breathe, ground down and have yourselves a beautiful day instagrammers 🖤
