Soon to come on the website (finally), our interiors page for the summer of 2018! A sneak peak here with a loft project full of sunshine. In case you’re wondering how we got involved with interiors, the founder Sonya @ssalierno0415 is an interior designer by training. She is a graduate of the ID program at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and worked for over 10 years designing residential & hospitality spaces. In fact, it wasn’t until a position as an in house designer at a NYC hotel brand that she started a foray into floral & botanical design. At first it began as an additional role. Eventually the work began to take on a life of its own with more projects so Sonya brought in her sister Eva to help. While college students they both worked at a greenhouse & floral studio where they developed much of the foundation knowledge they use everyday. Long story short — you never know what’s in store. But it sure can be a fun ride! . . . #interiordesign#floraldesign#floraldecor#botanicaldecor#botanicaldecor#interiordesigninspo#loftspace#archedwindows#sistersinbusiness#womeninbusiness#floralinspiration
On a dark and gloomy day- waiting for the storm to roll in so we can rock the weekend in rain coats & gumboots. The puddles are not going to know what has hit them with my two kids 😝 I have 10 tall arched windows at the front of my house- we have a love hate relationship 💁♀️ Did you know the best room in your house for your young ones is one with BIG windows! WHY? Because what is outside is AMAZING! Baby's & Toddlers are in awe of the outdoors, that leaf that moves in the wind, the postman who sweeps past on that noisy motorbike, that bird who drinks from the water fountain, that snail which crawls at a slow pace, the teeny tiny ants that scurry, the purple flower that just opened, the cars, planes & maybe buses, rubbish trucks and street sweepers that drive past. Kids notice these every day occurrences more than you think! Let them SEE!
