Some say, the #RC390 is over engineered. That ‘some’ is me. But I do stick by my statement. Track
technology brought down to the streets and easily accessible to the masses. However I did always
wonder if its purpose built for the track, how pointless will it be on the road! I was positively proven
wrong couple of months ago.
Forty plus horses at disposal for the lightest crotch rocket in the segment, you do the math. I’ll tell
you what that ratio is capable of. That figure is not just fast to keep your favourite litre class in sight
but to keep it in proximity on public roads, especially on the #Mumbai-#Gujarat #Highway (NH-8). “Can’t deny that the quality of our roads have improved over the past decade” that’s what I
remember from the conversation I had with my ex-colleague.
Anyway, I’m sure I cannot say the same about the 390s and the litre classes on a race track. Until
then let me try real hard, pin the throttle, get into their slip-stream and flash high beam on them,
