Probably my FAVOURITE piece of fitness equipment! SO SIMPLE + SO EFFECTIVE!Including battle ropes in your workout improves strength and endurance by engaging your whole body - with this you primarily work forearms, shoulders, biceps, triceps; core. By incorporating progressions such as squats - you will also work lower body muscles.
Battle ropes are excellent for conditioning!
Video shows just some variations you can do with a battle rope.
Start at 20 secs Work/ 40 secs Rest (=1 Round) AIM for 6-8 Rounds!
Progress to 30secs Work/ 30secs Rest X8-10 Rounds

💥PLANK💥
The plank is an isometric core stabilising exercise, designed to work your entire core. It is performed everywhere (from yoga, Pilates studios to ‘hard-core’ gyms) for a good reason... it’s a reliable way to build endurance in your abs and back, as well as stabiliser muscles.
Keep your core muscles tight, body in a straight line.
Avoid bridging to high or ‘sinking’ hips to touch floor - both can take stress off working muscles.
Video shows a a plank in a high position (on hands) and a low position (on forearms).
🔹TIP: when muscle is really fatigued, stay in plank position but widen legs ... this will take slight strain off worked muscle
