Guess who’s back!! And I’m back with baking to celebrate an early Mother’s Day ♥️ These rose-shaped apple pastries were super simple to make but turned out so elegant! Just 5 ingredients! Frozen puff pastry, apples, cinnamon, sugar, and coconut oil (or any oil). See details below 👇🏼
I used frozen, pre-rolled puff pastry. Let it defrost and then cut into long rectangular strips. I sliced 2 apples very thinly in a half circle/oval shape and microwaved them in a bowl for a minute or too so they would bend without snapping. Put some melted oil onto each strip of pastry, and then lay the apple slices across one side of each strip. About half of each apple slice should be hanging over the top of the strip. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and then fold over the empty half of the pastry strip to half cover the apples. Roll up and place into a pre-oiled cupcake tin. I baked these in my toaster over for about 20 minutes. Enjoy!
