This goofy grin and sweaty face is brought to you by an hour of PiYo Live in my living room taught by yours truly. (It was a class of one but that still counts, right?) Listen. I know life gets busy. Also, have you seen how cluttered and messy my house is right now? (Just look at the stories I posted, SO cluttered!) I have a pile of laundry to fold, some food prep left to do for the week, and Christmas cards to finish. You don’t need a lot of space, a gym membership, fancy equipment, or the latest in workout clothes (exhibit A: the awful choice in bras I was wearing during this workout). What you DO need is to make yourself a priority, to practice self care enough to move your body, and the dedication to stick to it. Do it out of celebration of the abilities you have. To express gratitude. To cultivate joy. And if you’re anything like me, you can also do it to keep the crazy winter blues at bay!
