I simply can't stop staring at the braids on this ancient Egyptian skull, a picture published by @natgeo. When I was Art Director of that magazine we did a story on the black pharoahs of Egypt that forever altered my view of the vast diversity of that region – all African, but varied in appearance and and culture.
