As many have noted, besides the Wakandan alphabet and some Adinkra symbols, here is the other script used in the film, and this one certainly makes sense, in that it is the Neo-Nsibidi logography, based on the Nsibidi or "Leopard Hand" symbols of the Cross River region of West Africa. These are of ancient origin, and were used by the Ekpe/Egbe secret societies, that is, the Leopard (or Panther) societies, also known as "Anyoto"! So someone did their homework there because that is a very appropriate link to make with the story, full of gravitas.
Pity that the childish-but-cool-looking cipher got pride of place in the film, but appropriate in a way, considering that it is an index for the overall treatment in that the movie represents *an American fantasy of Africa, using Western principles, and only with surface forms that are African*... Nevertheless, the film is still a momentous global cultural event of far-reaching importance, particularly for Black Americans, since it is the first Afrofuturist American blockbuster ever. It is essentially just a sketch... poorly wrought science fiction/fantasy, because that wasn't the point anyway... but we can forget about quality of worldbuilding beyond the fabulous production values and just enjoy the ambience in the raucous cinema rather than the film - a comicbook blockbuster in 'community theatre' style... imnandi blind makunabantu abarasayo!)
