Anxiety is something I have suffered from the age of 12. I am very good at hiding it as a lot of people see me as a very confident bubbly happy person, but behind closed doors things can be tough. Some days I can push past my thoughts and force myself to get up and go out but some days I find it hard to even get out of bed and go out because I worry about what people think of me or I feel shit about myself or I think the worst of a situation, and I try to bottle it up, but sometimes it gets too overwhelming and I find myself crying all day and I don’t want to see or talk to anyone and I just want to stay In my bedroom all day somedays I wake up feeling so anxious i don’t to go to work, or I don’t want to go on that night out I’ve been looking forward too all week or I don’t want to go out with all my friends when they are having a day out because I feel so down. I worry about every little thing and don’t think I’m ever good enough and it gets tiring always thinking so negatively about myself and situations. but I’m lucky enough to have support from amazing friends and boyfriend who always help me to see the light is brighter at the end of the tunnel, and like the message says sometimes you push people away because you think they are going to leave but they have always stuck by me through thick and thin and I’m learning to try and love myself more and look at things in a more positive way , and I know there are so many other people out there who suffer from the same things i do. Please anyone out there who suffers from anxiety don’t be scared to speak out and tell people how you truly feel. It’s taken me nearly 8 years to realise I had a problem, and that’s not the way to live. I am still going through a very hard time but even when I’m having a bad day I learn to pick myself back up and start again. But anyone going through this please just know it’s not embarrassing to admit you need help, sometimes you can’t do everything on your own and you need someone to give you that push, and that’s when you will truly begin to heal and better yourself and your life. #anxiety #anietydisorder #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthsupport #yournotalone #bestrong

This is probably one of the best life-hacks I have to share when it comes to conquering long-lasting anxiety. 💘 A BATH. 🛀🏻 When I used to be a beginner I just poured hot water in a tub and got in. WRONG. Sooooo wrong. 😆 first of all you will need epsom salt, which will become your best friend. So epsom salt is full of magnesium which calms your nervous system, so after soaking for (at least) 25 minute, you will feel a salty taste in your mouth and then it's time to get up. (Nope, you can't really "overdose") Do NOT use epsom salt with soap which will make it less effective. Essential oils on the other hand will only enhance the experience. So which oils do I use? At least 5 different once. Lavandel, peppermint, bergamot, eucalyptus and tea tree oil. 💜💜💜💜💜 I can tell you that this really, really helps with any kinds of pains or tensions in your body. These baths were more effective than painkillers at one point when I broke my back. And the salt is super cheap as well, if you don't want a fancy one like in the pic with herbs and oils in it. I prefer to go outside and pick and dry my own herbs, leaves and flowers (which I think is what I'm going to do today to get out of my head for a while!). You will NOT regret trying this after a panic attack either.
