I had four students compete at Naga this past weekend, I expected good results but nothing like this. All the kids went out on the mats and fought their hearts out while using amazing technique. We brought back a total of 12 medals.
Ameer the youngest one of the group competed for the first time took home a first place sword and also a first place medal. He dominated his division using great takedowns and guard passing techniques.
Jeimar who also competed for the first time took home a first place sword and a bronze medal. He fought in a very tough division but at the end came out on top.
Saad who we like to call the martial arts prodigy, took home a first place sword and also a gold medal. Saad used textbook technique and finished all his matches by submission.
And lastly Brian who has been competing since he was about 5 years old, who doesn't shy away from a challenge fought in multiple division against bigger opponents and higher skill levels took home a Naga championship belt along with 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals.
The whole BMA Martial Arts family is extremely proud of these students for their accomplishments and can't wait to see you all compete again! And also a VERY VERY BIG THANK YOU to Brian Schick for helping me out with the kids at the gym and coming out and staying late to support and help coach the kids. Couldn't of done it with out you.
