One of the most iconic places in Banff National Park is Lake Louise. This glacial water comes from receded glaciers. The milky turquoise appearance comes from sediment produced by rocks grinding together under the glacier. The water then picks up this sediment which gets suspended in the water and scatters sunlight producing beautiful colors in the water.
Cullen Arches, Moray. A beautiful day in Cullen yesterday. You can beat a walk around a beautiful wee fishing town, the waves rolling in and breathing in that sea air. If you haven’t been.....you should.
