"Kob khun kha Thailand!"
Thank You Thailand, it's been 17years since we last met! .
Been an interesting experience over the last 5days. Kinda like a reliving old childhood memories n yet creating new ones all at the same. Making new friends at the placed we stayed in...( love the way he calls my mom "Mummmmmiieeee" when he sees her everyday).
Much has changed over the span of 17years, yet not much has changed. Remembered the times when mom had to go to Thailand every month to check out the manufactured goods at the factories and the goods, and how I would occasionally tag along. Definitely brought back much fond n special memories, from the smell of the dye of the printed garments sold at the night markets, to the smell of the air in Bangkok, to the jam, to certain things things seen n heard... Memories. They were the times when I was really the most carefree n oblivious to the harshness of the reality of this world. But yet at the same time I was not the happiest person... How at times I wish to return to certain periods of my life to relive certain emotions, situations n thought process.
17years... Thailand has become a city filled with loads of night markets n hipster cafes (Something new to experience). Was indeed interesting to squeeze through the packed crowds n trying to fit into the small cramped areas of the food booth to sit down for a meal. Was a fun n interesting experience tho. Guess, the one thing that didn't change after 17years, was the smiles n heart of the Thai people - Graciousness. Thank you Thailand for allowing me to relive my childhood memories n creating new ones all at the same time!
Please be nicer to me the next time round, n be cooler... Was too hot!
Till next time!
It could only have been possible with God.
