As an extroverted person who also needs a lot of sleep to stay healthy, it has always been a struggle to balance the two!
Self-care is hard because we live in the real world and can rarely have everything we need, exactly as we need it, all at once. Self-care often requires us to prioritize our needs. For me, this sometimes means choosing between rest and socializing, either of which could end up being the priority depending on the day! Sometimes some #fomo is worth the extra sleep and sometimes I’ll deal with being tired if it means some healing quality time with friends and family. Either way, I try to always go with what my intuition is telling me is the best decision for ME. 💙
