Up until then I really didn’t know that song writing was an actual profession. The only “song writer” (is in writing for other ppl); I knew, was Missy and she was also a phenomenal artist. I didn’t know ppl could separate the two.
I’m super shy and I get so nervous sometimes so I really never pictured myself doing what I’m doing now. It’s crazy because it’s sooo outside of my comfort zone but it’s feel so right 😩
I want to put out my ideas and my music and I want to do it pure outside of gate keepers.
I still write for other people and I love doing that to.
But this feels special - this feels true.
Volume one was about not letting song that I love die. Producers and song writers know what I mean, when you get a great song and the artist doesn’t put it out, or this or that... and you’re like “I don’t wanna waste this.” That’s how I felt/feel and thats the main reason why I put out volume one of Scribbles in a SongBook. The project has a couple new songs and a couple songs I just couldn’t let go.
Now, I wanna keep making songs I can’t let go.
