Hey folks! It's been a busy weekend here - I arrived home from Tanzania and immediately turned around to head back to the Cascades. @dsweld and I spent Saturday night camping in the northwest corner of Mount Rainier National Park, watching clouds drift around the mountain, whose summit was still nearly 9,000 vertical feet above our camp. As dusk fell and alpenglow illuminated the peak, the meadow we were in took on a truly magical quality. The skies were a deep purple, and wisps of fog gave everything a dreamy quality. There really is no place like the mountains, and I'm so happy to be back!
