🌾Are you getting enough fiber? Do you have healthy trips to the restroom? How frequent are you eliminating? Once a day or more I hope 🙏🏼 one of my favorite ways to get more fiber is to add 2-3 tbsp. of psyllium husk to my smoothies every day. Fiber is not just for a healthy elimination, but can protect against type 2 diabetes, improve blood pressure and cholesterol levels, control blood sugar, aid in weight loss, etc. One thing to note, though, is that according to one of my text books, psyllium husk significantly reduces B12 levels in the body 😲 and can potentially interfere with other vitamins and minerals, such as iron, calcium, and zinc. So, if you're going to hop on the psyllium fiber train I strongly encourage you to follow with some form of B12. For me, that's my women's multivitamin (men's version available) or an egg, but the multivitamin is a daily for me and eggs are not. Also, are you consuming a multivitamin?
