BULK SPAG BOL.
Hubby & I came home from work this week & together quickly threw together a massive pot of spag bol. We had it for dinner & I froze (in glass best) another 11 portions because while fresh is best, great quality frozen is great for times you need to add sanity, ease & nourishment into your life fast. I stopped using our microwave & will get it out frozen in advance if I can or with an old butter knife I'll chop/stab/mash it into small pieces that I can pop in saucepan and warm up in a flash. This also means I can cook enough and leave rest frozen if the portion size is bigger than I need that meal.
I always make my spag bol sauce 50% meat 50%, hidden veggies and I only ever get complaints from my hubby 🙄
Recently had the loveliest review of my spag bol from my 2yo nephew & my kids love it. We do zucchini zoodles in Ghee, spaghetti squash or rice pasta (BuonTempo Penne hands done best GF pasta I've found).
Made this with: 1 kilo grass fed organic mince, olive oil, 8 garlic cloves, browned together. Blitz and added 5 zucchinis, 2 packets organic baby spinach, 4 carrots, half a sweet potato, 3 tomatoes (pretty much anything needing to be used in fridge)... then added 4 cups of bone broth (made after roast & kept in freezer), mixed herbs (whatever was on hand), Dulse flakes & 3 jars or organic passata. Too easy.
