I've been living in Rwanda for nearly a month now and despite the change in diet, maintaining digestive health has remained my priority! Gut health can not only affect your stomach, but also mood and energy levels. A typical diet here consists of more starchy carbs than I'm used to (e.g., bread & potatoes), so I'm grateful for the access to fresh "organic" 😂 vegetables and TROPICAL FRUITS 🍍🍉🍌🥑🍏

Passion fruit is rich in Vitamin C and iron which increases haemoglobin in our red blood cells. The rich content of riboflavin (Vitamin B6) and niacin (Vitamin B3) in passion fruit helps in regulating thyroid activity in the body.

Watermelon contains only 46 calories per cup, but is high in vitamin C, vitamin A. It also contains lycopene, a carotenoid that improves cardiac functions. Watermelon is also effective in reducing both your body temperature (especially for those hot days!) and blood pressure.

Baby bananas are an excellent food source of vitamin A, vitamin C and are rich in potassium. Bananas can be helpful in overcoming depression due to high levels of tryptophan, which the body converts to serotonin, the mood-elevating brain neurotransmitter.

Wanna know a trick to make your waist look smaller? Have nicely developed lats!! Warmup and activation is essential to every single workout. You have to prep your muscles. Wake them up and activate them before any strength or conditioning exercise. Today I’m working back and biceps so I did so band pull aparts, band pull downs, and band rows to get me going.

Movements from today included:
•Wide grip lay pulldowns SS with close grip pull downs
• Db bicep curl with shoulder flexion
•Meadow rows SS with 45 hyper degree rows
• 45 degree bicep curls SS bicep in and outs
• cable lat push down
• loading pin rows
•reverse flys (not on vid)

The vein game is really strong at this time of year for me. I go back to normal so don’t worry. This is just how I am.
