It’s easy to make excuses. I get it. There are days that I find myself making excuses. Life is busy and it’s super easy to put working out on the back burner. But when it comes to finding time to workout you have to be SELFISH!! This is YOUR health!!! Working out not only keeps us healthy but it helps motivate us in other aspects of our lives as well. I don’t know about you, but when I skip a few days of working out I tend to make bad food choices and I do not feel my best. When I’m on my game, I’m in a great mood! I feel good, I eat healthy, and I’m accomplishing things!! My biggest excuse these past few days is that it’s fricken COLD!!!! Especially cold seeing how I workout outside or in my garage. I have to force myself to get out there. I spend 20 min layering clothes on clothes and 10 min after I get started I’m peeling those layers off. The cold is temporary. Our excuses are temporary. Find a way around them and you will be so glad you did!! Tonight I got a great workout in. I was so busy today so it’s not my normal time. I sacrificed cooking a big dinner to workout. Instead I cooked an easy meal and had a little time extra before I picked my daughter up from swim. Nobody complained that they didn’t have the ribs I told them I was cooking. Tomorrow my time management will be better, but I didn’t let that stop me today.
Side note: I’m working on my core strengthening program.
