Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra
I'm going to begin a lunar mansion / nakshatra series.... let's see if I can stick with it and not give up!
Symbol: Twins / Snake in Water
Planetary Ruler: Saturn
Star: Algenib 9°♈︎04' (Pegasus)
Sidereal°s: 3°20' – 16°40' Pisces
Tropical°s: ≈ 23° Pisces – 6° Aries
Mythology (as told by me): There's a warrior that has found himself in some water, perhaps a lake (the emotional watery lakes of Pisces). This warrior has been struggling with finding his(/her) path in life and has been lacking direction. He has been ever so aware of his limitations and everything that he doesn't have, everything that he isn't. He runs into a snake, which frightens him terribly because he doesn't understand snakes, especially mythical mythological ones, and is therefore super nervous. The snake, although poisonous and seemingly dangerous, represents the wisdom of Pisces and Jupiter, Jup ruling Pisces. The snake bites him, and supposedly causes him pain. I've never been bitten by a snake so I wouldn't know. And little does he know that his fears of being limited are released. The poison is actually helpful to the warrior and allows him to accept himself, so that he may dive deep into the waters and bring to the surface the hidden mystical truths that he finds.
This nakshatra or lunar mansion represents people who dive deep in mystic waters to search for magical spiritual treasures and bring it up to the surface. They are spiritual people and can often be astrologers, tarot readers, energy healers, psychics, etc. But since the symbol is also a pair of twins, it shows that these people can use their spiritual gifts to bring about positive truth and treasures, or negative ones. They can either be great spiritual leaders that aid people and help them heal, or they can use their gifts and knowledge to harm others. But all in all, they are people who are aware of their psychic and spiritual powers and have awakened to them, most often though struggles earlier on in life.
And I am aware that the star representing this nakshatra isn't within its degrees.... hmm oh well.
Oh btw the moon has just entered this nakshatra
