Light as corny as it can get shines above Praia da Cordoama in Portugal while the receding tide revealed the interesting rocks of this nice beach. I shot this one on Christmas eve 2012 and it's one of my first images that i still like and have a look at from time to time. Nowadays i would have gone closer to the rocks and maybe at another angle to add some further visual punch, but of course with such conditions the light alone was king already. Another reason to never forget this shooting session is that some hours later i asked a very meaningful question to the most important person in my life. And... surprisingly i got a yes as response 😂 I had planned this beforehand but maybe this pinkalicious sunset gave me the needed braveness to add another cheesy thought.
Do you also connect every image with a certain memory? For me this is one of the reasons that i love looking at my work from the first day I started to play with a camera.
