If you listened to the podcast on Sunday with Paula Begoun you will have heard me talk about how I've never really used powder makeup, except eyeshadows, because I have so many fine, fair hairs on my face that powder tends to stick to them and give the appearance of a weird beige beard. When @realtechniques launched their Powder Bleu range of brushes specifically for powder makeup I didn't think I'd get that much use out of them for the reason outlined above, but I was so wrong. I'm enjoying the ceremony almost of setting my makeup, dusting powder over my concealer and just taking that final step to sweep these super soft fibres and the smallest amount of powder over the areas where I can get a bit shiny. I like to call it the Alexis Carrington-Colby-Dexter-Rowan step, because it feels a little bit decadent and fabulous.
The @realtechniques Powder Bleu brushes are available now. (Not pictured: kabuki brush - excellent for the neck.) Fine work @pixiwoos and @nixiepixi1
