•New 52 Robin (Grayson): sticking with the theme of my iconic boy wonder I figured why not give you guys a taste of me in the original green and red tights 😜. In the past I've done the young justice Robin and Damian Wayne but never anything like this. Dick Grayson is honestly the character I feel most comfortable as not because I like him but because I feel he is someone we can all strive to be like. Someone who in the face of adversity and depression always fights back with a smile. I have always envied dick and hated Tim, the Robin I'm honestly the most like in reality. Dick is a comfort zone. One I'll be breaking away from in the next two cosplays. •Spiderman (civil war mcu): yes it's here. The most generic cosplay I will probably ever do (God willing I don't do deadpool). I've done spiderman in the past and honestly loved it. There is something exhilarating and free about no one knowing who you are. You can do anything and everything just because in that moment, you are spiderman. It's an amazing feeling I wish to grasp again, whether at a con or in public doing a shoot. Plus seeing the excitement on children's faces when they see spiderman walking down the street or scaling a wall is priceless. It's such an amazing feeling. •Angela (genderbend male version): this will be the most creative of the cosplays in planning on attempting. I've been wantin to do a female to male character for a while now and was pondering over Harley Quinn but in all honesty spiderman was generic enough. This will be a hard costume not only because it will be the first one I'm actually assembling but because it will showcase so much of my body which is something I'm not use to. Either way this is also the one I'm the most excited about. It's completely different from anything I've done in the past. My body isn't bad and I'm not ashamed of it. I'm not a chiseled Adonis like some guys but I'm pretty happy the way I am. I hope that by doing this I prove that you don't need a six pack to rock a cosplay. Never be afraid of looking stupid or that you're not doing cosplay right guys. There is no "right" way to cosplay.
