The past 3 months I have been investing in my own health and making sure that my own health is a huge priority because as a health practitioner who looks after other people I believe it's so important. How can we help others and give others our best if we don't first look after ourselves.
With regular treatments including herbal medicine, acupuncture and cupping from @indigo.chinesemedicine along with self care days where I have had some facials with @beechworth_elysian_beauty in Beechworth. I have also most recently starting seeing Tash @mothers_moving_well_ for gentle body adjustments and alignment, working on my walking and desk posture.
Confession time: I have spent many years studying and most recently opened a business. This has always been my excuse for not moving my body. It has taken me 3 months of getting my energy back so that I can do some fitness and I am absolutely loving it, thanks Amber & Lauren @fitness4me_wangaratta for helping me slowly transition into becoming active again.
This post is to show that even has a health care professional, I am not perfect and I too need help. I always talk to my clients about surrounding themselves with a team of practitioners who can help them collaboratively. Health is complex, challenging but so rewarding.
Remember all you can do is your best, keep trying no matter how hard it might get. I've got your back, just like other people have mine #grateful ✨💕- Karly
