Going on my first cruise ever was quite an experience; thrown straight into a sea day and a half upon embarking and my family all had motion sickness. I was fine, which found me at the buffet room for most of the day, the pool area at night and talking to anyone who would talk to me HA! It was on the first night that I sat back and watched the stars go by (until it got freezingly cold because open air and open sea) - every day after this poured and even though I have no issues with rain, my hair 💁🏻
In this day and age of being able to stay so easily connected, Internet came at a very high price on board. I'm therefore so glad for Spotify premium, a book and my charisma 😏
At our first port landing in Ketchikan, I woke up to this view from my balcony. It doesn't even come close saying that I was blown away. Old towns have such a beauty to them that cannot be replicated.
