1:30am in North Iceland. The road we drive out of each morning with curiosity for the unfolding of the day ahead and the road we drive home each night with delight. The nights often bring on the more tender adventures: the late-night no-pants cooking fests, 3am conversations over mugs of tea, the belly laughter that explodes at random, the raw softening tears, the bewildering truth serum of almond milk that gave way to secrets unleashed. Most roads we know only by name, unaware of the millions of stories of loss and courage they connect to one another.
This is the #icelandxluminous women's journey in which we explore the qualities of light (our own).
