Arya started her CGC prep class last night. Hopefully we will have a CGC in five weeks. If not that's okay. She's still a baby and I'm not expecting her to magically stop being playful when she sees other dogs over night. I do however want improvement fairly soon since we can't have another instance where she darts out of the car to try and play with a dog that isn't dog friendly like she did last week. She reads no cues when it comes to dogs saying screw you I'm going to eat your face off 😒 I almost want her to get bit just enough for her to learn not everyone likes you... 😭 Why must she lose her suspicion of other dogs I didn't release you to? Impulse control has drastically decreased within the last month, and she's increasingly more teenager in behaviour so the solution is to buckle down and train even more than before! I'm posting this and venting because I want everyone to realize while I do have a puppy that's got a great handle on obedience cues, and is now a social butterfly, I still have a loooong way to go with training. Training is a never ending process and don't let any one of these accounts on here fool you into thinking that they have a perfect dog! Anyone on here that claims they have a fool-proof, perfect dog that they can stop training, and never makes mistakes, is a horrible liar. I am posting the good, the bad, and the ugly. You don't have all good days, don't pretend that you do.
