🔥FIRE, 💨AIR, 💦WATER, ⛰EARTH
The four elements as four types of matter have a close relationship with our physical health. 🔥FIRE - Controls our vital force, energy and digestive forces. Fire releases energy. The metabolic and fuel burning activities of the body take place through activation of the fire element. The action of FIRE is hot, light and dry. 💨AIR - Governs the electrical forces and connections of our body, our nervous system. Neurotransmission, motion, oxygenation of the blood, breath, language and motion. The action of AIR is cold, light and moist but will also alternate between cold, light and dry. 💦WATER - Rules the fluids of the body, including the phlegm, lymph, semen, vaginal secretions, blood, and all other bodily secretions and fluids. The moist and protective mucous membranes of the body are also governed by the element of WATER. Our memory function is related to water, due to water being the most impressionable of all the elements. The action of the water element on our body is cold, heavy and wet. ⛰EARTH - Governs the minerals of the body, our bones and the fabrication of our bodily structure. Earth also holds in energy and is related to stamina, food storage, body building and longevity. The EARTH element is warm, heavy and dry (although Taurus maybe an exception producing more warm moist conditions.)
