What's that? You want to dress my table like I'm royalty. Oh, please be my guest. 👑
I'm all about comfy flights and airplane reading. 🤓
The journey began with a train ride, flight, another flight and then a car ride home. Twenty one hours of being jostled from one place to another, I'm finally home. 🏡
Also, I got ten hours of reading in. Not bad for someone who has the tendency to doze off right when the plane takes off. 🤓😴🛫
I'm wrapping up Three Daughters of Eve by Elif Shafak and am absolutely enjoying it. Although I do have to admit this is not Shafak's best work.
If you are new to her work then I would suggest starting either with The Forty Rules of Love or The Bastard of Istanbul.
For those who are existent fans and are looking to read her latest release, I'll say go ahead!
It's different from her other works. She talks more about God, religion and the hypocrisy of a patriarchal society towards women. If you are someone who is not too religious but do believe in God, find yourself agreeing with contradicting opinions and are plain confused about the world and yourself then this book would resonate with you. 📖
Detailed review up on the blog real soon. ♥️
