Last weekend we met my parents at Fogo de Chão to celebrate my dad's birthday. For those who aren't familiar with it, it is an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse. This was the first time taking Emily out for a meal now that she is actually eating with us (we don't go out for meals much). We brought along her smock and water cup and sat her up in the high chair with us. This little girl sat at our table and eat and watched everything going on for close to 2 hrs and was happy as a clam. No whining or crying, just munched on meat and meat and more meat and a few veggies the whole time. I am so very proud of our smart, food loving baby girl.

Salmon is a fantastic food for 6+ months for many reasons. It is a nice soft texture, but firm enough to grip. But more importantly it is full vitamin b-12 omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin d, and so much more. This salmon recipe is so simple and something everyone will enjoy. ---------''
Lemon Dill Baked Salmon

Ingredients
● 1 lb wild caught salmon, deboned
● 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
● 1 lemon, thinly sliced
● 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped and divided

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Rinse salmon, pat dry, and place salmon on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
3. Brush olive oil all over the top of the salmon.
4. Sprinkle half dill over the salmon. Layer the lemon slices over the salmon. Sprinkle remaining dill over the salmon.
5. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or until salmon is cook (flaky).
6. Remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Cut in to portions. This will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Yummy and simple Asian inspired lunch. A stir fry mix of spinach, spaghetti squash, and salmon with a splash of coconut aminos and fish sauce.

A freezer find paired with a new recipe that needs a few tweaks. Carrot and butternut squash soup with nutrient dense meatballs.

I will never get sick of my lemon dill baked salmon recipe, never! Paired it up with my most favorite way to have broccoli, burnt. Plus a side of spaghetti squash.

Loaded veggie quick stir fry of sorts for my lunch. It includes purple cabbage, zucchini, butternut squash, green onions, sardines, and kalamata olives. It took about 10 mins to make up while my sweet little angel read quietly in her room. #proudmomma #bragmoment
