Next - citrus! The difference between the green on the watermelon and the yellow on the flowers is the number of threads I'm working with at a time. One thread = very tidy neat looking satin stitches but means more stitching. More thread and you risk the work not looking as smooth unless you've really prepped your thread with wax and heat (I do not). #embroidery#birds#fruit#crossstitch#needlework#needlepoint#AimeeRay#DoodleStitching
"You can't get spoiled if you do your own ironing." -Meryl Streep ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Still don't quite have the hang of iron-on transfers. Luckily for me, I can hide the evidence with embroidery! Any tips for ironing on transfers?
I think BB-8 was probably my favorite character of Star Wars Episode 7. He is just so cute!! I think the most fun part of getting this set ready was making these little star wars felt characters! I only had time to make 2 of the 10 characters. This kit by Aimee Ray comes with everything you need for these cuties, and you can buy it for yourself on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble!! :) You can see more pictures of Tarcil being BB-8 by going to: http://talesoftarcil.blogspot.com/2016/10/bb8.html You can buy the Star Wars Felt by Aimee Ray by going to: https://amzn.com/1626866562
