I did it! I finished culinary school!
I’m fully aware that I only have a foundation but I’m eager to build upon it and continue my education by learning everything I can. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made by myself, for myself. The past two years have been a lot of things but happiness, hard work, and self-growth were the major highlights. I will never forget the great friendships I’ve made, the passionate and caring instructors/mentors who’ve pushed, encouraged, and had faith in me, the lessons I’ve learned both good and bad, the literal blood, sweat, and tears that went into some of those lessons, the true understanding that failure is sometimes the best way to learn something, and the great satisfaction of successfully completing a long day’s work and finally getting a chance to sit, relax, and take a break with the team. I have cherished every moment and I’m sad to leave but it’s time for me to take what I’ve learned here and go out into the world to forge my own path. Congratulations to all my friends and fellow graduates and a big thank you to everyone who has supported me through this journey! I couldn’t have done it without you. #theadventurecontinues #dontcallmecheftho #seriously #imgonnamisseverybody #aicaoc #aiproud #graduation2018 #bittersweet
