Tatvan Harbour, North-Kurdistan (Benderê Têtwan, Bakurê Kurdistan)
No, this isn't some frozen Siberian harbour. This is a small harbour on Lake Van (Wan) at the Kurdish city of Tatvan.
Tatvan is located in Bitlis province and is one of the few larger lake towns in Kurdistan. The region has, like all other places in Kurdistan, a long history. The town itself has few historic monuments left, but there is an interesting thermal spring built in the early 16th century.
